AAUW State College has extended its grant application period for the current year to April 15, 2024.  We believe that advancing equity for women and girls expands the opportunities for everyone to participate productively in the economy and improves the overall quality of life for individuals, families, communities, and nations.

We believe that collaborative community-based initiatives form a robust foundation for advancing equity locally and, ultimately, globally.

AAUW State College Community Action Grants fund specific programs, not organizations, which must relate in some way to the AAUW mission to advance equity for women and girls. Current projects help women and girls gain access to reading materials, help raise self-esteem, address health issues, and more.  AAUW State College STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) grants are administered through the branch STEM committee, a separate process.

Grant applicants must be non-profit organizations located in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
