CARING FOR THEIR HANDS - CARING FOR THEIR HEARTS

Not everyone can enlist to serve, but we can serve the enlisted. Our mission is to recognize and honor everyone within a deployed unit, ensuring one and all receive a mail call. This is accomplished by many volunteers of all ages and abilities, funding from individuals, companies, and grants, and perseverance. Each gift is individually wrapped and contains the following: hand cream, sunscreen, lip balm with SPF, a handwritten letter, a star from a retired flag, and hard candy. Each care package is tied with a ribbon and curled. This care package may be the only mail many soldiers/sailors receive during their whole deployment. It reminds (troops) that they’re not alone and increases their morale.
