- connect with a local family facing homelessness - provide encouragement, friendship, and some tangible supports - receive training & support from staff

Neighboring Volunteers are an essential piece to helping families walk through the challenges of homelessness.  A group of 6‐10 Neighboring Volunteers from a Christian faith community receive Bridge of Hope Neighboring training with ongoing support as they walk alongside a family facing homelessness.


Requirements:

  • go through our Neighboring Training (5-6 hours, 1/2 online and 1/2 in person)

  • provide current child abuse and background clearances

  • be a part of a Christian faith community

  • commit to building a relationship with a family for 1-2 years
