Eligibility Volunteers meet with prospective new patients, either in person or over the phone, to see if they meet the eligibility criteria for our services. The volunteer assists with registration paperwork including collecting a medical history and financial documentation. The volunteer also explains our services and assists patients with initial scheduling as appropriate. Must be a “people person” with high attention to paperwork detail and organizational skills. Must demonstrate the ability to keep personal information confidential and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate pleasantly and respectfully with a wide variety of personalities. We are seeking volunteers who could regularly commit to a four-hour shift weekly or bi-weekly.
