Volunteer Description
Facilitate child, teen, or adult peer grief support groups at Tides Nights.
Adults groups include spouse/ partner loss group, child loss group, and parent/other loved one group.
Our children’s group varies by need but generally are elementary and teen.
Commitment:
September-May, the first and third Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:45 PM.
Tides Nights are located at the Mount Nittany Middle School (656 Brandywine Dr, State College, PA 16801).
All volunteers are offered pizza and salad.
Volunteer training
August 20-22, tentatively 5:00-7:00 PM
