Volunteers work on a team of 5 to pack meals in an assembly line format to portion prepared food, seal meal trays using our commercial sealer, or label meals with stickers to stack into coolers. Applicants should be comfortable standing on their feet for two hours, while small breaks for sitting are provided. We offer this position Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM -10:45 AM. Volunteers can sign up for a regular schedule to come in weekly on Tuesday or Thursday or substitute on an as-needed basis, according to their schedules, on any weekday. Appropriate dress for this position is a hat, closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a long or short-sleeved t-shirt.
