THE SALVATION ARMY needs volunteer bell ringers!
The Salvation Army of Centre County is in need of volunteers to support our Red Kettle Campaign. This involves standing at one of our Kettle Stands for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. We welcome large groups to stand a full day, or individuals (bring a friend so you can take a break). This is an outdoor volunteer location, the bell ringing encourages donors to donate to our Red Kettle. The money raised stays in our community to help provide various social services year-round.
Due to staffing, we only have Sam’s Club (SC) or both doors at the Benner Pike Walmart (BPW) on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Kettles are available on the following dates:
Nov. 29, 30 — BPW
Nov. 30 — SC
Dec. 6, 7 —BPW
Dec. 13, 14 — BPW
Dev. 14 — SC
Dec. 20, 21 — BPW, SC
Dec. 23, 24 — BPW, SC (10 AM to 2 PM only)
