Ensure the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is facilitated and implemented in a manner that is consistent with GSHPA and GSUSA current guidelines and expectations, and act as a role model for positive promotion of Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania activities, initiatives, and goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, responding to inquiries and support needs with professionalism and care.
Provide direct support to organization’s membership retention efforts for girl and adult members by conducting targeted outreach to parents/caregivers and volunteers at the troop and service unit levels.
Ensure prompt, thorough case resolution and maintain detailed, accurate records of volunteer activity, touchpoints, and case management in internal systems.
Foster relationships that lead to ongoing volunteer engagement and year-over-year membership renewal.
Manage the onboarding process for new troop leaders in the assigned territory, and conduct regular outreach to newly onboarded leaders to support confidence, retention, and connection to the Girl Scout community.
Deliver consistent, high-quality service that reflects organizational values and supports volunteer satisfaction.
Identify patterns in volunteer feedback to help address barriers to retention.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment in training, support, and communication efforts.
Support training and development opportunities and resource sharing among volunteers.
Maintain regular contact with assigned service units to assess engagement, leadership structures, and activity levels.
Support local volunteer leaders in strengthening service unit operations, planning events, and encouraging broader community involvement.
Assist with volunteer recognition efforts and promote a positive culture within service units.
Provide feedback and recommendations on service unit health and needs.
Partner with staff and volunteers to support local implementation of product program campaigns.
Assist with planning and communication to promote high participation and positive experiences.
Ensure volunteers have access to accurate information, timelines, and resources for successful campaign execution.
Participate in cross-functional projects and team initiatives aimed at improving the volunteer experience.
Ensure adherence to council policies, background clearance procedures, and compliance requirements.
Stay informed about member trends, demographic shifts, and community needs to better serve volunteers.
Provide professional, quality customer service to all customers (i.e. donors, members, volunteers, staff, etc.).
Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Demonstrate commitment to the Girl Scout mission by representing GSHPA in a positive and professional manner.
Work independently with limited supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of council-wide initiatives and/or cross functional teams to further the mission of GSHPA.
