The Big Brothers Big Sisters program creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Consider being a BIG in one of two ways:

  1. Community-based program

    • 12-month minimum commitment

    • One hour per week

    • The volunteer (Big) takes the mentee (Little) out to do a free/low-cost activity in the community.

    • The match is supported by professionally trained staff.

  2. Site-based program

    • One school year commitment (no summers)

    • 2 hours per week

    • The volunteer (Big) meets the mentee (Little) at a local school.

    • The match is supported by professionally trained staff.

Reach out if you are interested! We’d LOVE TO HAVE YOU as a Big!

Our Volunteer Info Session dates are 9/6 4pm at YSB, 9/12 6pm on Zoom, 9/16 11am on Zoom, and 9/19 12pm on Zoom.

Please sign-up for a session to learn more about our program and the process of becoming a Big!
