Reception/scheduling for busy free clinic. Monday morning and afternoon shift available. Thursday afternoon shift available.

Front Desk Volunteers:

Handle or direct all incoming calls.

Check-in, check-out, and schedule patients using an electronic health record system: both in-person and by phone.

Greet and assist patients and other visitors.

Make appointment reminder calls.

Assist with various office tasks as needed.

Volunteers should have excellent phone skills and strong computer skills. We will train how to use our scheduling system. This is a good position for flexible individuals who are comfortable multitasking and shifting focus. There are always two volunteers on shift along with a staff support person. Centre Volunteers in Medicine is a very team-focused and supportive environment. We seek individuals who can commit to a 4.5-hour shift a week.
