Our current Treasurer will be stepping down July 2024. We are seeking an individual with an accounting background, to serve as board Treasurer. We are fun!

The Park Forest Preschool (PFP) serves low-income preschool children and their families in Centre County.

Our dynamic board cares deeply about our community.

We work with the youngest citizens from income-eligible households and offer quality social-emotional support and an educational foundation so they may be successful lifelong learners.

Our current Treasurer will be leaving the board this July.

We are seeking someone with an accounting background.

Time Commitment: The PFP Board of Directors holds 5 board meetings/year.  Some in person & some on Zoom. Finance committee meetings as needed, 2-3x/year. Bi-monthly check-in with the Preschool Director is extremely helpful. We have a bookkeeper on payroll, who enters donations into the Donor Snap platform.  The number of treasurer volunteer hours/week varies, on average the range is 4-6 hours/week. Experience with QuickBooks and willingness to learn the Google Docs filing system is preferred.
